82 240D rough idle
 

240D new to me X 1 week. Very rough idle. I'm thinking injectors. Best cleaner? What is most likely problem or......

I would check the clamps on your hoses first as old hard srunk hoses can cause an air leak. In fact if the primary filter hose and hose to the fuel supply pump are old for a few dollars you could simply change them.
Mine was running a little rough at idle and I found that I could easily rotate the hose on the primary filter nipple. I replaced the hoses and made sure the clamps were snug and it cured the problem.

I'd go for filters and lines before moving on to injectors. Don't forget the prefilter before the priming pump either...

I would certainly check all the things mentioned above, although fuel filters would have too be really plugged too effect idle and you'd get no RPS at all. New injector nozzles cured the rough idle of my "85"240D but check all the "cheep fixs" first.
