I just got a nasty gram from the IRS saying I owe 19k. Lets pretend you got one of these, what would you consider selling inorder to pay it off?

I would try to buy the entire near to 1980 lineup of MB's. Here's a 450SLC in my coupe's color, and for $2,000! Also, a 1983 300sd also in champaign metallic for $2200.

A matching set of MB's is a good thing! Not for the wallet or knuckles though.

Yeah, $2k would be just meh. I'd put it towards a paint job or something like that.

I'd love to get about $70M after taxes, I could buy a ton of property with that...probably double it in 10 years...

Paint job. And then I think I'd be broke again.

Switch from MBTex to leather, perhaps.

Heated and air conditioned seats would also be nice.

buy a rebuild kit, drop the engine send the pistons off to be ceramic coated (along with the intake and exhaust valves) send the crankshaft to be polished and oil holes chamfered.Port match the head abit, mostly to aid in cylinder filling and crossflow, (this can be done by yourself with a little time) port the oil pump and shim it for more oil pressure. drill out the oiling holes to the same circumference of the oiling holes in the block (on mains). take out full load limiter and cut the D/V's shoulders down abit, then adjust the maximum RPM and the fuel that is added at full throttle (At higher rpm's). Find a bigger t3/t4 turbo (i mean big) and throw your engine back together. Have fun This is what im going to do one of these days..
