another AC thread...
I used the battery out of my Buggy because it was easy to move under the car. With the Benz running and AC switched on I tried to jump pos and neg terminals from the battery to the connector on the compressor. NOTHING.
I then checked for voltage at the lead that connects to the compressor. NOTHING. I checked line pressure at the low side and was getting decent pressure. What to do next? Can you check the AC relay in the fuse box? I was going to try and swap out a ACC pushbutton unit but I don't want to spend the money if I don't have to.

Sounds like the clutch coil it not working or you have a broken wire, as direct jumping should have engaged the clutch.
