Front brake discs??

Hallo,

I've a w124 200D with 284x12 front discs, is there any possibility of modificating the front calipers to fit 284x22 discs from the w124 250TD?

Thank in advance

You probably would just need a set of the 250td calipers....I'm assuming they would be a drop in replacement for the smaller units.

Ah yes, backplate, forgot that would need to be bigger too.... I bet it would have become obvious right away though.

Spindle may be needed too, not sure if the caliper would compensate for the diameter difference or if the bolt hole location is different.

But the diameter is the same 284mm! The 250TD discs are only thicker!

So, bottom line the 250D TD discs are to thick for the 200D calipers, and no modification is possible?
