Why does this matter?
FWIW, the SLS in my wagon works perfectly, and makes no noise.

It was prompted by my question of surrounding noise levels where he was while hearing the valve. My valve makes a quiet noise that is undetectable next to my noisy road. I can hear it if I'm under the car next to the valve.

Some noise is normal, it is just a hydraulic valve after all. You've seen construction equipment and how much noise their hydraulic systems make.

i just noticed mine doing the same thing when i shut down and get out. only sometimes though. and I never noticed at all before 2 weeks ago. no leaks. 2 new accumulators and a new/used shock, but they have been on there for 6 months now. mine does sag overnight, i figured the noise was the valve failing to hold the base pressure. maybe not, seems pretty common,
