Braided lines lasted a year or less once I switched to biodiesel. I got Viton from Fryerpower, should have no more problems. I don't understand why ULSD should attack the braided line material.

Yes, I'm also finding the lines don't last long with biodiesel.

I wonder if that trimmer line would handle BD well. Anyone know what it is made of?

Kerry did you use the black ones or the yellow/tan dealer stuff?

I have been having horrible luck with these return lines, my last set lasted a year.

I just ordered 10 feet of 1/8" hard viton from Mcmaster. PArt number 5119K791 . I went with the green stuff just to be weird. I've got three cars on WVO/BD so they all need it. After my wife's car spat 1/4 tank of gas on the highway with newish lines, I'd had enough.

I got the hard (firm) not the soft. Can anyone confirm that is a good / bad idea?

The trimmer lines I bought are tygon, which has very poor biodiesel resistance. They might be fine for diesel, but not BD
