Question about Booster Vacuum Hose

Is this thing supposed to bend?
I broke off one of the nipples and got the fastlane replacement for W123s.

First pic - the old one
Second pic - the new one

Just want to check so I don't break it

Yepper! They have a mild bend in them and be sure to mount it the right way or the check valve in the middle will not work and you'll have no brakes. Didn't your original one have a bend in it?

Did it arrive straight like the [icture?? that's weird, I thought they came with a bend in them already.

Yep, it arrives as shown in the picture.
So it's sounding like I got the right one after all? If so, awesome!

It stays bent because time and engine heat baked/set it into that angle. If you were in the same position for 20+ years you would be stiff too!

put a new one in a car today. It is straight but is flexible.
