4 fuel leaks.....Is there no end?

USLD........I hate the stuff. I have 1 injector leak(still not sure
where exactly) 2 lines at the pump, and the bolt on top the
fuel filter.

How is everyone else stopping/dealing with the leaks?

BTW......I still got 30+ on the last tankful.

I've had tons of leaks since ULSD but Forced will tell us it doesn't cause leaks. I'm not convinced it doesn't.

ULSD isn't the cause. If it was there would be FAR more people with problems.

Fixing them if they happen.

30+? If you do just highway travel I could belive it, otherwise I'd bet there are some errors affecting the math.

Never had a fuel leak since ULSD was officially used. Only leak I had was when the primer pump screwed the pump plunger loose. Tightened it and it's been fine ever since.

I do have a new one to replace it with. Fuel return lines have been replaced with new OE beige/orange lines from the dealer. Heard they fit much better. No problems either.

Do you guys replace the fuel lines that run between the main fuel filter element to the IP? I'm talking about the supposedly clear lines with banjo bolts at each end. Mine are already brown inside, and were like that from the first day I got the car.

I haven`t had any problems with ULSD, but I did snap off the line with the 3 way with the fuel return, cigar hose. the line going down to the IP.
when hooking everything up on the new engine, that old brown line snapped like a potato chip. the new one was around $20.00. I was amazed how pliable and clear a new one is.
I still need to replace the other two.

Thanks Charlie. Do you have a part number for those? Do you just remove and replace them? (no more bleeding the fuel system of air)?

Get viton orings from fryerpower.com.

The orings shrink due to differences in aromatic chemicals used in the different blends (ULSD vs LSD) of fuel; in addition to their normal rate of deterioration (seals/orings dont last for ever ya know).

Even if ULSD did affect o-rings, his car has none to leak.

My flexible tank hoses are suddenly leaking.

I assumed it was because of the fact that they are 25 years old but the leaks did come on suddenly.

During a filter modification I broke the plastic hose from the Secondary Filter down to the IP. I needed a longer hose there and also between the Fuel Supply Pump and the filter.
I replaced both with 1/4" ID black Fuel Hose; with clamps.
To remove the plastic hose I heated the ends on the barbs with a butane lighter and pulled.
