Low gear shift hard

So i left my shifter into 2 second and floored my car, well first gear held on at 4500 RPM held for 4 seconds and then knock in really hard,if its on low load on 1 gear it shifts in very smooth, as if someone rear ended you, is this suppose to happen all other gears shift ok at high rpm....

I believe that is typical for an MB transmission. Hardness of shifts can be modified by changing the vacuum but I think the shift from 1-2 is always harder when accelerator is floored.

Lucky You!

That You're not being treated for whiplash!

1-2 upshift @ 4500 RPM Might jerk the car out from under the paint.
