Phil is the guy at Fastlane. Look in the "Buy Parts" tab at the top of the page. I didn't read through the entire thread, but you may not need the hard tube parts - only the rubber connectors. I bought the entire set cause sometimes I have more money than sense.

Quite true, usually the hard plastic tubes can be re-used (if they don't split during the removal process). The rubber elbows get so hard over time that you think they are plastic also. It's amazing to compare the new rubbery ones to old ones that have hardened. Can't believe you're handling the same part.

Thread necromancy time:

Is it possible to just skip all of that and add a second breather tube to the front of the valve cover?

Does the differential pressure valve go bad? If so, how can you tell if it's working properly or needs to be replaced?

I’m fixing my fuel leaks and breather tube leaks on my 97 606 non turbo. I have all the fuel leaks and prints done. Reolacing the breather tubes again is so annoying.

I like the idea of the mist going in to the intake. Did anyone come up with a system that is strong and tough and not disposable ? Like barbed metal fittings that thread in with o rings to seal and plain rubber fuel line instead of this brittle plastic junk ? Just something u can take off and put back on without breaking it and it doesn’t leak.

I get they are saving big bucks manufacturing. It reminds me of an Isuzu diesel I saw. The return lines on the injectors were metal with eyes amd banjo bolts. I want something like that. Maybe I need to buy a gwagin for that type of thing. Lol.

Also if you don’t run the oil mist there could you run something else line some water injection in those holes? I’ve heard a little water methanol mix in the intake keeps an engine and is a nice boost.

Thanks
