85 300SD and Climate Control
 

Effective yesterday, with the AC on and the climate control downward flow button pressed - I am getting very little center air flow yet my windshield is getting a lot which is causing exterior condensation.

Since yesterday I have begun to feel a cold drip of water on my feet as the driver of this vehicle, with the AC on.

For a long time now, my rear compartment center outlet - within the center console yet for the rear compartment - puts out cold air no matter what the temperature I set the climate control for.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

you may have a leak in your ac lines or your evaporator is shot

Check vacuum leaks in system - green vacuum line on engine side of firewall to start. If you find it won't hold, check each pod from behind ACC to isolate leak. Sounds like center and defrost at least. After mining expedition to remove bad elements rebuild with new diaphragms (search replacement diaphragms here). Water is most likely decade drain line. Can be fixed with plastic water bottle. Search AC drain. Searching A/C trouble shooting will yield much more detailed info. Good luck
