OOOOKAAAAAY... a 79TD with original upper control arms...
they just gotta be replaced. lookit all the polishing the thing took...
 oh, and I did not do anything to seperate all the parts, the parts just fell out when the bolt came away. I changed the driver's side tonight, because the inner tire was wearing, and it's just a tad unstable on the highway... test drove it after, and WOW it's just so much better...

driving it in to work today, still has a noticeable shake in the steering, soooo, tonight, the passanger's goes out.
anybody want a pictorial? or heh, a video?

Did you replace bushings or arms? I just wonder if the ball joints were still good after that long. mine seemed ok, but I replaced the arms.

oh, I got new arms... not gonna bother with that mess... waaaay simpler to just replace the arms.
the bad thing is, on the passenger's side... it's upper AND lower control arm wear... now I gotta go get me a spring compressor... rassen frassen frick &()$#&*()
