alternator belt size. W123 1985 300TD naturally aspirated

Im not sure i have the right alternator belt size,on Conti brand whats the right size for a non turbo w123 300td euro with a single pulley/belt?? Mine i think is too tight,i have the 1030

Your best bet would be to remove the old one, and measure it. Many auto part stores have a gauge.

everything before 83 used the 1100 length belt. the newer 617's have a smaller waterpump pulley and plastic fan blades.

This is on a w123 1985 non turbo td,i just noticed the alternator bracket maybe my problem as it is not the correct one,i noticed on another non turbo how the bracket is different.

Didn't we do this a few days ago?

What size are the pulleys? And, maybe the approximate space between them.
Maybe then we can determine the belt size and/or if you have the correct bracket.
