1987 300 D camshaft sequence installation

Anybody knows the sequence and torque to install the camshaft of a 1987 300 D turbo, I was told that if not done in the right sequence the camshaft could break in half, also I need the sequence and torque of the head bolts.
Thank You

I had no sequence for my twin cam 95, I simply snugged it down evenly, all around, a little at a time.

Yes, they are cast iron, brittle, and prone to crack with unbalanced loads.

I just installed the cam in my "87 300D this morning. You tighten caps 2, 3, 4 and 7. They are tightened to 25nm, about 18 ft lbs when you have them all tight. Use the manual that the previous person posted.
Good luck,
Brad
