My '87 300TD has the ABS system. This weekend I will be bleeding the brakes (line opened to complete a repair). Do I have to use the power bleeder? I know how to do the "old fashion" break bleed.

You don't have to use a power bleeder.

And, please do a search on brakes...........there's enough info in the archives to fill a volume on proper brake bleeding procedures..........with various opinions on the preferred choice.

The old fashioned way is fine. Do you know about the front of the brake reservoir vs. the back on a 124 chassis car? If not, best read up on it, or you'll be posting a followup asking why there's no fluid at the rear calipers but the reservoir looks full.
