lift pump

im installing svo system, requires rerouting lines at lift pump, useing 22mm crawfoot wrench to remove inlet at pump threw hand primer off to side ,threads were damaged, inserting a replacement hand primer did not sit well and it still leaed, thought i need to r+r whole lift pump.i should have never attenmpted to remove 22mm inlet.even getting hand primer in is difficult with inlet hose in place.so thats where i am
