Door lock issues

My door locks stopped working so I started by checking the vac pump. The motor runs but there is no vacumn or pressure. I'm guessing there is a bad diaphragm. Can these be repaired?
Does anyone have a pump they want to sell?

I took mine apart from my 81 300SD. It was working beforehand but I just wanted to look. I understand completely the inside workings and can send you pictures and an explanation. However it never worked again so I bought a used one from a CA group (something like SVMB.com but I will look it up for you). Got it and it works like a charm.

I still do not know why mine did not work after carefully putting it back together. Get the exact part number from your pump and email that plus a picture to these guys. The first pump they sent was one number off and would not work. The second pump was also one number off and was shaped a bit different from my original but it works fine. I just had to stuff it into the rubber pad next to the spare. Ask to talk to Marc; he is a good guy.

Your pump is the piston type and a rebuild kit is available here at a reasonable price from the parts dept. (top of the page) The check valve where the vacuum line enters the pump is often the culprit.

Pick and Pull in Windsor (Arata Lane exit from the Redwood Highway, just west of the freeway on the frontage road) has several SDs that may have usable pumps in them. Go get one.
