Does you kickdown switch work? Is there something special to jump or wire in the relay so it does?

It's been so long since posting this that I can't remember anymore Actually only a few months but I honestly have forgotten how the logic in the A/C system works.

Look through the flow chart steps listed a few posts ago and that should give you some of an idea.

The kickdown switch (to make the transmission shift down) is on the floor under the accelerator pedal. The kickdown switch (to temporarily turn off the a/c compressor clutch) is a different switch, a microswitch in the engine compartment, somewhere near the IP, as I recall. The two switches are unrelated and unconnected so transmission kickdown should still work.
