There was a gasser W116 in the Damascus yard with an intact roof, and another gasser W126 in the Foster Rd yard with the same color headliner and an intact roof.

If you end up going the manual route, which would be the best, and if the 116 is the same size as the 123, which I seriously doubt unfortunately, I have a SR headliner from a 123 that you can have for free + shipping. It's beige in color. I also have a few small SR parts for manual.

I think I like the "manual" idea and I'll be researching that. BGKast or BioDiesel300TD might know??

But same idea applies but who knows may work. Measure the dimensions of your sun roof and Ill measure the dimensions of a w123 one.
The slider panel on my '80 300SD measures 37 1/2" side to side X 19 5/8" front to back .... underneath that everything is gone/gutted so nothing there to reference for measurement. Hope that will give us a start.

Please see my other post concerning measurement of the slide panel.... 37 1/2" X 19 5/8"?

Come to think of it, I also have a bare w123 s/r panel you're welcome to. But just make sure the 123 and 116 panels are the same - not just demensions, but curvature as well.

Unfortunately I'm on house arrest until my Dr releases me bg. I had surgery Monday and when I mentioned the boneyard today he freaked on me...lol I'm hoping he'll let me out of the house by Satruday though and if they aren't picked clean I'll be pulling the headliner and SR stuff. Bummer man
Is the u-pull-it place open on Sundays?

Please pardon the ranting. I'll be out at the u-pull-it yard next weekend and just hope for the best. My left ear is now cancer free and because of the drugs used to keep me in bliss I couldn't drive. Now I'm back and I'm bad??? Well maybe not so bad..... see ya there if I see ya.
