1978 240D (same year as my 300D) 144k (same miles too, at least that's what the odo says) looks like its seen 500k but that's probably the combination of upstate NY and sitting in a field

owner said that it was his daughters car and said it didn't run anymore. no idea what the problem was(is) yet. its definitely a parts car. plants are growing out of the rusted jack holes, lots of rust but new front fenders and trunk lid

it looks like it got hit in the front(prolly backed into) the hood was a pita to open. its knocked back about 1/4" the aux fan is gone and the condenser? has an imprint of the aux fan smashed into it(maybe it overheated)

the interior is in GC but is really dirty its not the right color so i will prolly part that stuff out (new glove box liner:) can i put the manual windows in my 300D? im sure its possible but is it bolt in?

the roof has a huge dent in it maybe it was the snow wieght but the metal seems thinner (bends easier) than the 300D

its in bad condition and cant be saved(theres no way even with a ton of cash, but it was dirt cheap and it has alloys too. tommorow ill examine it more in the morning before i go to Boston ill post some pics

How much did you pay?

200, 230 if you include topping off the truck on the way. but i have no PnP's what so ever and no junkyards either(none with Mercedes atleast. i found one but it was rusted away and striped clean) that and just seeing a w123 is rare let alone one for sale that's not listed at 5-7K
