Was the W115 a 300D or some type of diesel? Does it have a manual transmission?

Was the W116 a Euro model? I want manual windows and manual heater controls.

If so, I may be willing to make the drive.

there are a few w123's in the LKQ in south Tampa. one has a beautiful blue interior except for the dash pad of course.

there is also a 72 350sl with euro bumpers, but some tool ruined the front one because he couldnt get it off of the car. I would have took the rear but the trunk was locked and i didnt want to pry it open. it had a soft top fram and hard top but the car is very rough, bumper were good though at least the rear one now anyway

many, many sdl and sel. and 190E's I pulled a 5 speed swap from one of them total $235 and 2 hrs work (plus 2hrs waiting for the rain to stop)

Fifteen W123 wreckers in your local area! What a travesty!
I only see a couple at a time here.

Usually it is nearly imposable to find these cars in the yards.

Luckily most were rusted out or crashed.

S.O.B... I coulda really used the chrome trim, panel off the top of that front bumper, and that drivers side bracket. . .I hate when people damage stuff due to not knowing how or not having the correct tools to pull a part, shame. . . (same goes for the guy who damages body panels by using a screwdriver to remove the star off a benz and inevitably destroys both parts)

One of them is a yellow 240d, auto tranny, fairly complete. The other, I believe, is 280 gasser and has been there a bit longer.

There is also a 190d at the far end the has only been there a short while but got stripped waaaay quick. Looks like someone took a hammer to the block in several places to get parts off

Thanks mac2, I was not paying too close attention to the W115s. I forgot to mention the 300D at the Vancouver yard is an '85, so somebody should snag the 2.88 rear and speedometer.

Pick N Pull 50% off labor day week end

OK boys and girls, PNP is having a 50% off sale this week end . about time. we don`t get these much here in Ca.

checked out two PNP yesterday, only one 123 Euro auto. had the column shift, first one I have seen. and only two 300SD. the rest newer cars.

there was one 87 300D 6cyl 233050 miles. Mauroon interior, kind of trashed out.

Did see 2 W116 gassers, one blk int. and the other Royale blue.

The euro did have the euro rear bumper w/o the rubber on it. was in fair cond.

Now Iam off to the Moss Landing PNP to check the inventory, haven`t been there the past month.

8 W123's in Pull a Part in New Orleans. I got an M type IP from it. It still has the euro bumpers on it. Since I'm here on business, I couldn't justify getting and shipping those.

OK I'll bite, what does LKQ stand for? It doesn't ring a bell.
