Fuel leak

I have a small fuel leak on my 1993 300D. i'm not sure what this part is called. It is where the fuel line goes after the pre-filter and before the IP. In the picture you can see where the fuel line conntects to the plastic nipple and this nipple seems to be loose. what is this part called and can it be tightend or replaced.

Ok, I have removed the leaking part and I found that there was a locking ring on the end that was leaking. So I removed the ring and took out the plastic 90 degree fitting. I found a rubber gasket in there that apears to be okay to the naked eye, but I am using WVO in this car and i'm thinking i might need to replace this gasket. But i do not know the name of the part or gasket. Can anyone help?

Fuel Thermostat

Uses warm engine coolant to pre-warm the Fuel.
Replace the O-ring it's the problem!

Contact forum member JA Davis @

AND see if he's got a Viton replacement (The regular Buna will do you for a while.)
