ACC 85 300d w123
I posted this issue a while ago and I have a couple more questions. While working on the center vent of the 85 300d, I broke a small fingernail sized circuit board attached to a small wire. Consequently, I have to now keep the air conditioning in Max mode to get cold air. Any other setting on the wheel blows hot air. What type of sensor did I break, where is it located, and where can I buy another? Anyone have a different solution?

It's probably the temp sensor that is under the little grill between the center vents on the top of the dash.

Tried gluing it back together? There is nothing complicated about that circuit board. It just holds the temp sensor in place. No ICs involved. Just make sure the the two prongs from the temp sensor are attached to the wires. Or for $35 you can get a new one from fast lane.

I'll try the glue, it looks like I broke it right in half. I tried to find where it connects to, but I cannot see it through the glove box. I will pull the sensor from the dash and take a look. Thanks
