Not on the last episode ,they pull the gasser out and replace it with a 617 with turbo shipped in from Finland.

There's more parts to this project. It was a two episode project, both of which are available on YouTube in three parts per episode.

I wish we would get this show on Discovery here. I really enjoyed it.

BTW, the 2.3 has plenty of pep for the UK

I was gonna throw the bs flag too.... Funny, my wife and I were discussing a new show they need to bring on, called flip this car, to coincide with flip this house. That was about a year ago we were talking about it.

This is a pretty entertaining program. There have been about 10 or so made, all for quite interesting cars and all of which are on youtube. Edd the mechanic really knows his stuff, shame that the presenter guy mike lets the team down.

Check out the 190e cosworth, thats quite interesting too.

Nothing wrong with a 2.3 gasser, I'd like to own one. Then I could have a gasser MB without having to always have a gas station within 10 miles. The V8's are a *bit* thirsty..... (as are the V6's....but I'd be ok with one of those after driving a 300TE)

That's also a pretty neat way to "service" an engine: set the timing, replace one belt, and top off the xmsn and pwr steering fluids.
