greasing the door hinges
i bought the little mini grease gun and worked on the hinges. the grease only oozed out of the bottom part of the hinge. is there a way to make ooze at the top too?

Where exactly do you grease the hinges? My car is a respray. I did see some "dimples" in the center of the hinge. If I clean the paint out, is that where you add the grease?

yes. it is basically a hole with a ball bearing working as a valve.

Thanks!
I'm used to the zerk fittings, and on an old tractor had a zerk in the center of a level controller for a mower, one side oozed grease, the other did not. I got a rag and held under the oozing side and kept filling w/grease into until the dry side began to ooze.
