OMG, 2 cars DONE??? - PeachParts Mercedes-Benz Forum

I started out a year ago with a purchase of the 1983. Couple of months later I bought the 84.

The 83 has had the following:
AC redone
Both upper control arms/Ball Joints
Rear brakes
Shifter bushings
Purge
Tie rod
Steering dampener
Center link
Neutral switch
Glow plugs
AC Control re solder
PS filter and change
Transmission filter and change
one half shaft
Speedo cable
redo vacuum lines
Lower ball joints
Lower control arm bushings
Drive Shaft center bearing
Valve adjustment
Coolant
Transmission service
Brake fluid flush
2 new tires
New antenna
New-ish stereo
Just the cruise control and tach

dont work.

The 84 has had:
Rear Bilsteins
AC Work
Water Pump
Main vacuum line
Purge
Power Steering service
four tires
Glow plugs
one half shaft
New stereo
Coolant

EVERYTHING works including the cruise control and tach!

I need to redo the front brakes on the 83 soon, and probably will look at the cruise sometime.

Heh, I just stood there to day looking at these beasts, thinking about all of the weekends I worked on them, and that I **MAY** be done... for now.

Have I just hexed myself???

Done? are you done with breathing? Then you are not done with finding something to tinker with on your MB's...

Not everything we play with is broken. Sometimes I work on them just because.
