The linkage in that story was way more interesting than the linkage in this one.

Just don't drive that thing up to DC on only the rear brakes. I would hate for the car you rear-end to be mine!

My Jeep has a slow leak somewhere in the 34 year old brake lines. I replaced the obviously rusted out ones, but the master cylinder will leak all of its front reservoir. I just fill it up before I move it. Of course the Jeep does not go on the road so I am not THAT worried -- but I feel your pain

Powosd, I wouldn't quite call this a failure, but I have been playing catch up with Norm on the maintenance.
Tyler....your waitress story was great. I just felt that it was one of those cases where youthful inexperience led you to a situation where in the end (IIRC) you made the right decision and walked away from her. Hey it could have happened to most of us. I enjoyed the story and did not look down on you at all about it. I don't remember anything about you fabricating anything though so I have no opinion about that part of it.

I am pretty sure Kerry feels the same more or less.

Correct. Although, Tom, you missed the final post a couple of months later which was only up on the board for a few minutes. I'll let Tyler explain.

Yup, I was bored a few months later. Wanting to revive my exciting personal life in fantasy, and came up with an ridiculous final chapter.

I'm not very good at lying, and Kerry quickly caught me and I deleted the thread out of embarrasment. Up to that point, everything was true.
