Window won't lift
My 1985 300 TD wagon has a "dead" driver door window. It won't raise. No sound when I press the switch either way. Is there a dedicated relay for each window? The other windows operate properly. I have 3 days to get this corrected before the rain begins. HELP!

Try it with the door open. It is common for these cars to have broken wires at the door hinge and especially on the drivers door. Just think how many times those wires are bent back and forth over all those years. I have had to splice in new sections of wire on most of the ones that go through that area.
The other thing that goes wrong is the switch gets dirty inside and the best fix is to open it and clean it but some people have had success spraying contact cleaner in them.
