Need help Quick!!!!

was out working on the car trying to replace a window switch and when i unplugged the connector all the wires came out of it. Now i have no idea what way they went back in.

It was the center console switch and the back right passenger connector.

Please can someone tell what color wires go to which numbered hole on the back of that plug.

Look at your other switches.

I would look at each of the other switches. If they are all the same, it is a good bet that this one is wired the same as well. I have not had the console out and have not worked on the wiring, but I would start there.

I'll be going out to collect parts tomorrow. I can check the schematic for you then and get back to you. I assume this is for the 300D in your sig, right?

If it's not too much trouble just to keep the heat out, you can remove the door panel, disconnect the two wires from the window motor and connect
a 12 volt source(I use a battery charger) directly to the motor to raise the window.

window switch plug

This is for future reference to all those who might need this. I give credit to "cdplayer" for this:

OK. From a 1981 300D: Holding onto the connector so the wires feed into the sidefacing you the wires will lay along side each other as they enter the connector.

First red/yellow fits into lower left hole.
Second brown fits into upper left hole
Third blue/white fits into upper hole right of brown
Fourth red/green fits into bottom hole just right of red/yellow

Recap: Upper row from left: brown then blue/white then a square hole then an empty round hole.

Lower row from left:
red/yellow then red/green

Hope this helps. Dan(cdplayer)

Now lifting the lid of the connector with the wires facing me
