Power Brake Bleeder Problem

I have a pressureized brake bleeder, when I hook it to the resevoir, the test swich button and the other black button leak profusely. I'm applying about 10-15 PSI.
I wanted to change the brake fluid before I installed rebuilt calipers in front and back.

I haven't tried it, but I have seen the following suggestion about using a piece of hose to cap off those two locations for pressure bleeding:

Yeah, I capped off the test button, guess I'll cap off the other button too. Thanks. I built my own pressure tank, but I did not anticipate leakage from the test buttons. None of the write ups mentioned leakage.

Its not uncommon to have to replace the "black caps" to be able to use a pressure bleeder. They crack causing leakage when the pressure is applied.
