W123 Mudflaps

I want a set of MB logo mudflaps, but these are all I have been able to find: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MERCEDES-W123-R107-SL-MUDFLAPS-SPLASH-GUARDS-MUD-FLAPS_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp3286Q2em20Q2el1116QQitemZ270273171743

$150 is too rich for me. Anybody know of another source? These would look great almost dragging the ground behind my painted hubcaps.

unless you need the mb logo, id go to an auto parts store and get a generic mudflap for a sedan for about 20 bucks, u may need to cut them to get them to fit. ebay may have some as well.

The trunk lid star is held by a bolt. If you can score 4 at the junk yard, you can bolt them on the generic mud flaps.

Why not?

1) Buy a set of generics
2) Make a stencil of the star
3) Spray paint the star onto the generics in any color you like

Krylon makes a good plastic paint in a multitude of shades....

I would also like to have some mudflaps. Is someone willing to do a Diy mudflap writeup?

Is a "Tunk start" similar to a trunk star?

If the mud flap goes nearly to the ground is it too big on a car that has not been lowered like yours?
