I was wondering why you are advertising this product for a Mercedes 240D (a diesel car) only to contradict yourself later stating it will not work with Diesel engines?

I was also wondering why you would sell a product that is illegal to have on a car? Do you honestly think people are installing these on their cars and quit driving them on public roads?

One final comment: I'm reporting this to ebay because it has a very strict no weapons policy, and this "Flamethrower Device" could easily be used as such. Next time advertise to those special kids with the fart cans and bondo-encrusted body kits.

Have a pleasant day, good merchant, and best of luck to your growing business.

A few years ago, I saw a TV clip regarding a South African installation of an automobile flame-throwing antitheft device. Set to activate when tampering was detected, it shot a wall of flame from under the car, aimed to incinerate any nearby hoodlums!

Robert Loggia don't need no flamethrower.

If you can ignite gasser exhaust, then that engine is not running at optimal efficiency.

There was a program on History/Discovery/TLC? about armored passenger vehicles for VIP's and that was one of the items they featured, I think it was in a South American country. Might deter a car-jack or two, also!

It's been big in the old school hot rod movement for decades. On carbureted engines they just had a switch to cut off the coil to the engine and an additional coil powering sparkplug(s) near the exhaust tips. You'd rev the engine, switch off the coil (which activated the exhaust plugs' coil) sending unspent fuel through the exhaust to be ignited out the tips. Otherwise you have to be running way too rich to get enough to ignite.

I wonder why Mercedes-Benz didn't think of this classy feature when designing the 240D. I mean, if that doesn't scream high society, I don't know what does. Just the other day I caught myself lamenting my 300D's inability to conflagrate the vehicle behind it.
