brake line help?
1982 euro 300d...had to get car towed home seems brake line just past rear driver side door blew...brake fluid flying out...too dark out to get good look up in there...anyone know what size the brake line will be so i can possibly get it fixed quickly? are both rear lines the same? thanks everyone!!!.. i can imagine it will be tricky to get in there...thanks!!

I have not and any of my brake tubing apart so this is just general info.
Local auto parts have various lengths of straight brake tubing with fittings for each end. I do not know if they have fittings on them that will fit Mercedes. If the original tubes are double flared you can buy the tubing and the fittings separately; but you will need to have a double flaring tool kit to finish the job. For both you will need to bend the tubing yourself. There are various types of tubing benders to help you with the bending if you need one; Harbor Freight sells their version. If the local parts place dose not have them pre-bent I guess it is the Dealer or the Junk yard. I by lines you meant the Brake Hose the local parts places may have it.
