Anyone know where I can get new lock cylinders for my door locks?
Are these dealer only?
I would prefer to replace both with new cylinders but would consider good used handle/lock/key assys too.

Did you consider taking them out of the doors and having them repaired by a locksmith? I still have the originals in my 81 300SD and have had the driver's side lock fixed twice - tumbler problem.

I had already looked at those but I don't see only the lock cylinders and all that is listed is the left door handle assy. I want both locks to use the same key. Guess I'll have to contact the dealer to see if the lock cylinders are available. Thanks for you response.

If you go to the dealer they will match them to the Vin, and get you the one for the correct key I believe.

usually the locks get gunked up and stick.
Cleaning out mine made a world of difference.
do yours use different keys from the ignition? or different from each other? how about the trunk? you could go to a parts yard and snag several tumblers, and swap leaves around until they match the keys you have.

The trunk and both doors take the same key, the ignition is different.
The problem is the key is difficult to get into the door locks especially the drivers door. It works good in the trunk. This leads me to believe the lock cylinders are the problem.
The key does appear to be fairly worn but it would seem if that was the problem it wouldn't work right in any lock. With enough jiggling I can usually get it into the lock and once all the way it works okay.
