85 300d oil leak

i have an oil leak on passenger side of engine ,it splashes on mid valve cover,turbo and leaks down.i just changed valve cover gasket,but its still leaking somewhere.what else on that side of engine below turbo-in turbo etc could be a source of leak?

I hope yours doesn't turn out to be turbo specific because my 240D has a leak in the exact same place and on the front of the engine too. I've been thinking mine was the valve cover gasket but I haven't gotten to it yet.

Oil feed and drain on the turbo.

curt, your problem could be any number of places.
but it's certainly not leaking on or under the turbo...
I would get a can of degreaser, and soak down the valve cover area, let it soak in for an hour or so, and then rinse it off really well. then drive the car and see where the oil is coming from.
most likely it's the valve cover gasket, the oil vapor tube, and the oil fill seal.
it could also easily be the fuel return lines on the injectors seeping diesel and causing the oil residue that's on the motor to flow around the valve cover gasket area.

Before I get to that I need to get the brakes done and the new hood on and the parking brake released and the rear window seal replaced and and and...
