That part of West Putnam Ave makes me laugh every time. Theres a Dunkin Donuts wedged in between the Bentley dealership and the Mercedes dealer with a McDonalds across the street. Oh yeah, that's classy

Surprisingly the Hartford dealership isn't half bad. The lounge is very big with a bar type seating area as well as the normal large leather chairs facing the TV and circling a table. There are also a few desks with internet access. Free coffee of the "choose your flavor and brew one cup" is available. There used to be pots of coffee until not that long ago, it was a nice change. Their is also hot chocolate and tea to choose from. Biscotti or mints are about the only thing to munch on though. And of course cloths racks and glass display cases loaded with many different items to choose from. They also built a new glassed in room to house many of these items.

The parts department is easy to find. One of the guys kinda gets on my nerves but I'm really cool with the rest of them and we always end up converseing. They actually know what i'm talking about as well (Which is nice) Sadly though the son of the owner recently became the manager and started give "Genius ideas" like having the phones answered "Its a wonderful day at -Dealer Name- how can I help you?" Seriously, how annoying is that? And now its time for me to shut up because i'm over there all the time and everyone knows who I am

Well I have to say that the new Valenca MB dealership(they own a beemer dealership across the street). Is very new and nice with all the amenities and the parts counter and the service cashier are in an L shape and of course a lot of MB gear all around. I get on great with the Parts manager and I get a discount. I made the mistake of asking where there was a Soda machine and he informed ne that all the goodies in the waiting room were for all the customers, not just the service patrons....So I grabbed a nice cup of some weird flavor coffee(pretty good actually) and a bottle of their own water when I left. Pretty cool.
I even called the parts guy the other day and he gave me a radio code over the phone...then asked jokingly "you didn't steal that radio did you?" and busted out laughing. Neat place and there is a McLaren SLR in the showroom next door.

The parts counter is pretty good, the lady that knows what she is doing (I can't remember for the life of me her name) remembered me the second time I went in there, and that was like 6 months later! The waiting area just sucks...it's a couple of chairs and a muted tv in the middle of the showroom. I was offered a water which came out of the employee lounge after waiting for 2 hours (waiting for my alignment). Very disappointed.

Funny.

But it does bring up a good point. I say we try to collectt as many photos as we can of our respective lounges and then vote on which one we think is the best.
