great service

I just have to say these guys have the parts for my 113 that no one else had. They also had the s430 rebuilt shocks at a great price. I have used them for years with no major issues. Reece did tell me that in 2013 they have implemented new management. I have noticed a huge change, even in the way they answer the phone. I would not hesitate to at least give these guys a try. They have the parts at a great price, good warranties and friendly staff. They have been in business for over 30 years. They have to be doing something right! I did see they have the New 5 spoke rims on sale this month! Going to order a set today!

If Adsitco has gotten better, it's going to take a LONG time to un-do all the damage they did to their reputation over the past 10-15 years.

Maybe check if their return policy still forces the buyer to pay return shipping EVEN IF THEY WERE AT FAULT AND SHIPPED THE WRONG PART. That was one of my favorites.

This "youngfun123" who joined this month, is spamming many threads all with pro Adsitco posts in the last few hours. Sure smells fishy...

If using youngfun123 as a promotion shill is any indication I'd say they're not ready for prime time yet.

Gotta love that one! Was a victim myself when I ordered a pair of W124 Euro's (for the '92) and they sent one correct style light and the other was a '94-95 style light! Last time I ever bought from them!!

No change in the way they do business . . . And how many pages of comments discussing it????

I hadn't dealt with Adsitco before, but agreed to purchase a rear quarter and inner taillight panel from them. Their pricing was ok and I was thinking that shipping them together would save me some money. I ordered on their website, heard nothing for a week, and then got a call.

"Uh, the inner taillight panel is going to have to come from Germany, and it is going to cost a lot more than on our website. I can let you have it for our cost." "Our cost" for that part they were selling me but didn't actually own, was over twice what their website said, and what they had already charged me on my credit card. I told him I was disappointed they did not honor their website pricing, and passed on the part. I guess I will have to watch my credit card for the refund.

And went back to shopping. Interestingly, I didn't have any problem finding it elsewhere for less than "our cost," suggesting, um,. a lie, and they cost me shipping from another vendor, and at least a week of lead time.

So, wonder what the shipping on the quarter panel will be? And will I get refunded on the other panel without a squabble?

Call your credit card company and place the transaction "in dispute".

One of the great things about paying with a true credit (not a debit) card online.

I never heard of Adsitco before, and I failed to read this post before buying. Guess what: I had a great experience with them and they certainly remain on my list of preferred suppliers. I guess it's a good thing I didn't read this post earlier... Nothing wrong with Fastlane, Auto Haus AZ, or even the dealership either, it's called competition...

WOW, I can't even write ******** anymore... Well, we all know Auto Haus AZ. So sad to see this great forum go downhill...

If they have improved their practices, great. Their new website FAQ's are unclear on the return policy as to if they still charge return shipping for their mistakes, but does mention a 25% restock fee if returning for a refund. If they are better now, great. If not, well, five times out of six nothing bad happens playing Russian Roulette.

The forum hasn't allowed mention of Auto House in many years, or ANY other vendor. Not even other web forums which have information about other vendors, like 500E board.

This is a type of firm. If you do transactions with them do it with some form of protection. Paypal with it backed up with a credit card might be the best I can think of.

Where their transaction rules are overcome by your source payment protection. For example you might do five transactions and then one goes upside down.

You then would probably wish you never did business with them at all. I will almost bet they do not take paypal or would be far more cautious in filling the order if they did.

This is a good example of a firm shooting itself in the foot. I always valued my customers over all the years in business. Treating others as you wish to be treated is not rocket science. It pays off big time. Plus you sleep nights better.

You just cannot fix stupid becomes more valid as the years go by than ever. They could have become a much larger go to supplier for many things than they are today.

Fortunately I have dealt with many firms that have gone over the top through the years. Also they automatically make few if any errors..
