Not to rain on your parade MrsSudz but I find MB seatbelt buckles among the most difficult to use with child seats. On the other hand, how many cars will take 3 child seats abreast?

Very nice car! If the paint is in as good condition as the pics seem to indicate, then you did well. Has the car been repainted? Is the dash is good condition?

The dash is in good condition. There are no faded spots. There are 3 cracks the largest crack is about 3/4" and is over by the passenger speaker box. The smallest crack is about 1/8" and is between the windshield and drivers speaker box and the 3rd crack is about 1/4" and dead center by the windshield.

We bought the car and are the 3rd owners. The first owner was a Doctor in Florida who had the engine rebuilt at 100,000 miles by a Mercedes Shop. The second owner was an insurance adjuster and was a partner in a body shop. Kind of a red flag but the man was very nice and straight forward about the work he had done to the car and there is no physical indication on, in or under the car showing a previous wreck and the car fax is clean. He said there was some rust back by the trunk areas that he cut out and refilled. He painted the car. He also rebuilt the transmission at 160K because it was leaking.

The car was inspected head to toe at our local repair shop that we use and as we trust our mechanic implicitly we took his word for it when he said it was a great car.

The dark tint was put on by the doctor in Florida. Took a second to adjust to the black on black on black car but we love it.

Good Lord thats true. I thought MB pioneered safety in the late 80's. Id like to find the guy who designed the rear seatbelts and kick him in the nuts repeatedly for my 10 hours of car seat installations.

Go get a Mity-Tite to cinch down the seat belts. Im just about ready to remove rear seat bench and weld in some hooks to connect the child seat restraint clips to.

So can you actually get 3 child seats across rear seats of an SDL ???

Keep kids out of nice cars, they ruin them with crackers and goo. When they turn 15 you might let them sit in it...

Food is only allowed in the front seat. Numerous types of liquids are allowed in the front seat; only water in the rear seat.

My wife's Camry suffered "spilt milk" in the back seat --- I haven't been in her car since except to move it in the driveway.

I always amazed how some people seem to live out of their cars, eating, drinking and storing crap on the dash and back seat shelf. My kids are only allowed bottled water in the car.

YEah I'll chalk that advice right up there with dont have 200 matchbox cars laying on the floor so I dont trip on them at 2am getting milk bottles...effort in futility. even the old benz with a tank interior is showing signs of abuse from my kids. My volkswagen would of been in peices by now...
