The kit is just some springs and bits of plastic. No O-rings. See that blog article mentioned -- one of the first pictures is the bagged kit (to document the part #) and there's other pictures of what's inside the bag.

The O-rings on the green piston were hard as rocks when I installed that K-1 kit. I wondered about it at the time, but there's tons more elsewhere in the valve body and replacing just a few seemed pointless at the time.

If anybody knows where to get a set of O-rings for all the little pistons, and whether they can all be replaced without removing the valve body, I'd be willing to give it a go and update the blog as I suspect those rings may be a major part of why these tranmissions get tired.

You need to use hose that is made for a transmission cooler/oil cooler.
If anyone has done this what is the inside dameter of the hose?

Diesel,

Shoot i just threw my old hoses in the dumpster. If they're still accessible, I'll go get them and do the ID and OD measurements for you. But be warned: i took these hoses for rebuilds at two local hose shops and they wanted between $30 to $40 each. New hoses are less than $30 from any online Mercedes parts store.

diesel,

sorry, the garbage was too piled up and so i did not attempt it. but again, the two hose shops were way over priced above the cost of buying the oem hoses

I have the same question... does anyone have the part numbers for the O-rings on the K1 piston? I couldn't find them in the EPC, except possibly as part of a valve body seal kit ($75 or so seems a bit much for two little O-rings). Anyone?

Me thinks Whunter got a little rambunctious with his placement of this one due to the mention of WVO in the first post...

I'm moving it.
I'll also move the new question to it's own thread.
