Hole blockoff..

I want to blockoff the hole where the AC lines used to run through and into the cabin, what would you guys suggest doing this with? I could remove the little rubber "boot" that has two holes in it for the lines and just put a flat peice of mat or something and glue it but maybie you guys had better ideas? It really makes it louder inside, since the exhaust is right there

Go to NAPA or an auto parts store and buy some rubber/plastic hole plugs.

I just left my hoses hanging in the engine compartment, very untidy, makes me cringe every time I look at it. How much of a hassle was it to disconnect them properly?

You might want to use that insulation foam that comes in a can. You could even leave the rubber boot in place, and just spray it into the hole. It is a real sound deadener, but just take it easy when you spray it in there. It will expand quickly and set up in a few minutes. Good luck

if you go to a landscaping store, they will have black expanding foam, used for ponds, if color really cares to you.

Just make sure it is the non-hydroscopic type (does not absorb water)

That's what I used, with some sealant around the edges before I put them in.
