Proud to own a Mercedes???
Okay, I searched and I couldn't find any old thread that was suitable for this, so........new thread time.
We all know how proud we are of our cars.... And how some of us are more particular than others.... But this past weekend......I spotted something that an owner had done. Just wanted to share. We all know this symbol and would recognize it anywhere, right? http://i485.photobucket.com/albums/r...f/DSCF2558.jpg so...naturally when I saw the following car, I had to grab my camera. It is not easy taking pics while driving. http://i485.photobucket.com/albums/r...f/DSCF2559.jpg http://i485.photobucket.com/albums/r...f/DSCF2560.jpg http://i485.photobucket.com/albums/r...f/DSCF2561.jpg |
The star window is cool but the taillights are too ricer, especially against the black paint.
dont care much for the aftermarket lights and wheels
I am not convinced this guy is a Merc fan... I think it has more to do with the '420'
leave it to a gasser:rolleyes:
Ugh, that's about as bad as a "Powered by Mercedes" windshield banner. :repuke:
It's obvious it's a Mercedes, we don't need a 3 foot star to tell us. On a side note it's good to know those tail lights look like a$$ on a black car, I had briefly considered them for my SD. |
I don't like the lights nor the rear window.
Did the front windshield have "MERCEDES" in olde english font on it? That would seem like the next thing after rice lights and a giant star. Maybe an AutoZone Shift knob?
Its pretty cool to drive an older mercedes. Sometimes I forget about the hood star and am amazed.
its too obnoxious, mercedes is meant to be classy without the "HEY LOOK AT ME I NEED ALL THE ATTENTION IN THE WORLD" type thing.
I see a W124 driving around my area looking worse than that. I saw it the other day, but left my camera at home. Next time I see it, I'll snap a pic of it
I've seen much worse.
I do like the "I've been towed" bent-up rear bumper.
