$10k?

I'm partial to the SLK 230's... So if I had $10k to burn, and decided to put it into a car instead of any of the MANY other things I have need of money for ... I'd get on fleabay and get an SLK... I'm young, what can I say

Add another zero to the amount of money and I'll take one of these.

A nice, healthy 300CD and a Myna-tuned M pump which I would then send out to Forced in CO to spend the remaining $4+K as he saw fit in order to make it a barely streetable Super Turbo.

Or:

Screw the oil burners, nothing screams like a Ferrari! Throw on a louder exhuast and you can have a Ferrarigasm, at the top of every gear!

I would most definatly go on flea bay and look around for a 1965 Shelby Cobra Kitcar. It might not buy me the whole thing, but it would be a nice down payment on it one.

10gs ain't much but..

I would have purchased that white "factory" 300CD convertible on ebay a few weeks ago. IIRC it went for under 7 grand. I have some skills so the
remaining 2ish after registration could have come close to "baseline-ing" it.
Gimme another 6g, and I would have 617-ed it with a new longblock build, ditching the gasser, after determining long term collectible value.
Really though, 10 grand ain't much. It would cherry out my 300TD, but then it would not be real useful. I already have a "fu-fu" car. I NEVER
agree with ForcedInduction on "non-mechanical" opinions, as much as I trust his mechanical knowlege. However I agree with his picks on this thread for sure. I'm at the ragged edge age wise, but for a bit more doll-or-es
I could get what I REALLY want before I'm too old..a K1200s. I test
drove one last year,gawd. 170hp, 525lbs. A gentleman's superbike.

Well if your going to get off cars, and making someone else in my life happy. For $10,000 I get a lot of different ones in my life and make ME very happy.
