I have a folding triangle for the S124 and it fits snugly on the said compartment in the first aid kit area. It didn't come with the yellow box, but as it is, it's a tight fit into the slots for the bare folded triangle. Maybe the S123 had a larger container for it?

Forgive my ignorance, but what exactly is a European delivery?

Its an option to take delivery of your new Mercedes in Europe, then have it shipped home.

You get a new car and a European vacation.

I paid $1 for one at PNP but I didn't know to take the attaching bracket. Hope it's still there when I go back.

Its held on by friction. You just need some leverage to pop it off (I wouldn't want to try and remove one from a non-parts car!)

ive pried off a few, they are very robust. I have yet to break one while removing it. there are four legs that act as holders and one trignle shape that keeps it from sliding back off the legs. if you pry near the triangle it pushes the sheetmetal back and it slides down and off. use a thin blade screwdriver
