Not me. Maybe rear headrests came standard with the cargo net/cage/cover?

That is time capsule-esk! Having said that, it is still stupid to pay that much for one of these.
The certainly did pay for some interesting options. Roof cross bars are cool, rear cargo net thing is nice, but how wild to have 2 rear headrests!!!! First wagon I have EVER seen with just 2, without the middle one.
Shame it's a Cali model, but if it wasn't it probably wouldn't be in that good a shape.
Did I mention how stupid it is to pay that much for one of these.......

All true, but if I had stupid money I'd probably spend it stupidly. At least to those unfamilar with the scrambled workings of my brain.

Well...

It's at 17,000 bucks now. IF, IF, it is genuine, and maintained properly, what the heck could you get that was a better car? Very proven design.
No electronic garbage to complicate things. The only bad thing is that it is
not a FED model. Knowing what I know now, I'd take that car for 17,000
if it were a FED and I wanted it as my only car. Something that nice would
be a burden though sort of. It wouldn't be as useful as one with some "patina". What new car could you get that would be as cool? As good
a "value". I cannot think of any, right off.

Seller has been doing this for awhile. He's a forum member. Must be alot of these cars in the D.C. area. I should probably buy this car instead of a Jetta TDI or 2 year old CDI for my upcoming commute. Problem is you'd never see that amount from an insurance company if there is a wreck. I'm pretty sure I'm never going to own a 300TD given the money these cars are still commanding.

I'd feel bad ruining a car that has survived for 25 years. Buy a $5k driver for that, save the good ones.
