In the Bay Area i like 0W/40 in my 606; figure if its good enough for the engineers in Germany to put in cars there, and that it also came with it when brought here that it can't be all bad. Figure thats the way its supposed ot sound. I hear no difference between 0W and 5W myself.

It does get down to 35f here once or twice a year. Brrrrrrr. Have to wear a jacket over the tank top and shorts on those days.

That said, i would never run it in my W123 or the W124 (2.5 turbo) owned before that; engine tolerances are just too loose and it wasnt designed to use it. A heavier weight would be more apropriate.

But, neither of those instances is appilcable to the OP's post as he has a 606.
