I have a split line on my '80 300SD. Pic's attached. Anyone care to guess where it goes to? I haven't crawled under the dash inside yet to take a look, but I imagine I'll have to pull the instrument cluster. It connects to a "T" near the oil filter housing and appears to enter the firewall under the driver side dashboard. I'll tackle it asap... hopefully before it starts raining again......:mad:

thats the oil line to the gauge. Thats just the jacket splitting

The split is just the anti-rubbing sleeve, nothing to worry about, I'd be more worried about the flare fitting leaking.
