W123. I keep blowing #12 Fuse
Any help here with this one. I keep blowing the #12 fuse on my '83 300TD.
No windows and no blinkers is a big issue and I honestly don't know what it could be. Is there a way that I can locate a relay and see if it has gone bad? Maybe crossed wires? |
make sure the hot wire that is plugged into the clock isn't touching the body of the cluster.
|
OK, Sounds good. I will check it in the morning
|
If you have a tow hitch check the wiring to the plug. Wire connections here are often a hash! Check where 6 core goes thro hole in trunk has grommet etc.

Beagle,
That is interesting. It does have a hitch and I think that I am familiar with what you are talking about. I will have a look at that also. thanks |
I have unplugged the wire to the clock. I will see how it goes. I suppose I would rather not have a clock than have to keep fooling around with the blown fuses
