source for manual transmission input bearing?

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know where I can get an input bearing for a w201 5-speed transmission? Mine is a little noisy and I'd like to replace it while doing the clutch. Can't find much info or a part number online, though.

thanks,
Dave

If after you get the bearing out you can still read the numbers on the bearing they have them on Ebay, NAPA and there are Industrial supply places that only sell bearings; check the Yellow Pages.
Where to get the bearing is not as much of a problem as what country it is made in. If you want a good US, Japanese or German one it will cost 3-4 times as much as the China ones. Be sure to ask the seller so you know what you are paying for.

My Alternator had a Rebuilt by Bosch North America sticker on it but the bearings inside were from China.
