I'd try to fill up the fuel filter with diesel purge or something. I don't know if the IP is clogged or its just damaged internally.

Do ya'll think he could blow it out with compressed air?

Come on help this guy out, im running out of ideas!!!

Haha, thanks as always man.

I've been going back and forth cranking every 10 minutes or so.
(have it jumped to another car).
It's wet at injector 2 now! Progress I think...

Diesel purge in the stock filter sounds like a good idea actually.
Don't have any though.
I do have an air compressor.

crank it!!!!! If your getting fuel at #2 now you might be blowing all that crap out. Let me know what happens.

How much fuel is coming out of 3,4,5?

Hope you get it running.

YES!
It fires...and immediately dies.
Guess I'll keep at it.

My theory on how it wound up like this...
The car sat for 2 - 3 months during the Summer.
After this time, it has always taken more cranking to start, but only on cold starts. Perhaps a good bit of air got into the system due to leaky primer pump and/or bootleg fuel system during the Summer and continued to get make it's way in after I started driving it again. The last week before it finally failed to start, the engine vibration was worse as well. Plausible?

I bet it was only running on 3 or 4 cylinders. Keep tryin' you'll get all the air out pretty soon.

I got it going fully with that method.
Let it idle for about 15 minutes and revved it a bit before parking it in the garage for further work. Next up are the motor mounts and some tumbler/ignition switch troubleshooting. Hopefully it starts up easy the next time.

Thanks again guys!
I was growing unsure of the fate of this car.

so you got it to idle?

I have a ignition switch with a key on ebay right now but its for a early model, but it still should fit.
