Look what I found at the junkyard today
 

Look what I found,

1977 240D with euro headlights, maple yellow paint and a full tobacco interior that is in pretty good shape. Manual windows but the front passenger side regulator is the only one that works good.

I pulled the headlights and few interior parts. If anyone needs anything let me know.

The dash has a few cracks and it would be okay for a daily driver but not if you want to make it look 100% new.

What yard in Florida? I travel all over the state, and need a few things.

I don't know yet. I'll let you know in a week or so.

You didn't save the super-80's cassette player?? I think the earlier w123 dash looks nicer with the more leather-like grain.

Is the whole car a euro or just the headlights? Front bumper looks US ...

the car is a US spec car, but the headlights were replaced.

I'll bet that junkyard is a joy to be in after a hard rain...

That pick-up line doesn't work as well as you'd think it does.

I wish I could find some on a car, that'd be so awesome. I have a set of the "newer" 126 lights, like what came on an SDL....I may put those on mine soon....they look pretty good....better than the ghetto early us spec lights thats for sure.

Those lights are sweet ... what a find. Hope I can find some like that whenever I add a 123 to my collection.:cool:

yes it in jacksonville. The seats are gone though.

Great find. every once in a while a gem shows up, but have to be quick.

Grab the L/R arm rest and mount on the drivers door, and it will match the other 3 doors. I did on mine and it looks better. seems all 123`s the drivers door is missing something.

I will this weekend, first I have to see how to wire them up, do you have a link to that diagram , I can't find it. Believe me there will be alot of pics.
